If you’re serious about tracking your sports card collection or analyzing the market, Card Ladder Pro is one of the best tools available. But with the recent price increase to $200/year, there is a way to get it for the same price, while also getting some additional benefits.
Card Ladder Pro: Powerful, But Pricey
As of February 2025, Card Ladder Pro costs $20/month or $200/year. For that price, you get advanced features like sales history, population reports, daily value tracking, and collection management. In my opinion, it is significantly better than Sports Card Pro (although it should be, given that’s a free product). I think Card Ladder Pro is comparable to Market Movers, which to unlock similar features either costs $24.99/month for the Premium version or $49.99 for the Unlimited Version.
However, you can also get Card Ladder Pro if you sign up for the Premium PSA Collectors Club, which costs $199/year.
PSA Collectors Club: Standard vs. Premium
PSA offers two Collectors Club options:
| Feature | Standard ($149) | Premium ($199) |
|---|---|---|
| Bulk grading access | ✔️ | ✔️ |
| Monthly grading specials | ✔️ | ✔️ |
| PSA Magazine subscription | ✔️ | ✔️ |
| Fanatics Live credit | $60 | $125 |
| Card Ladder Pro subscription | ❌ | ✔️ |
The Standard membership ($149) is geared toward high-volume graders: you get access to bulk pricing, grading specials, and a magazine, plus $60 in Fanatics Live credit. But if you don’t grade a lot of cards or care about the magazine, the value is limited.
Why Premium Is the Better Deal
Here’s the key: PSA Collectors Club Premium costs the same as Card Ladder Pro alone ($199/year), but includes everything in Standard plus a full Card Ladder Pro subscription and an extra $65 in Fanatics Live credit. If you are already planning to buy Card Ladder Pro, the Premium membership is a no-brainer, as the added perks are essentially free.
- Card Ladder Pro alone: $200/year
- PSA Collectors Club Premium: $199/year (includes Card Ladder Pro + grading perks + $125 Fanatics Live credit)
If you’re a collector who wants advanced tracking and price data, Premium gives you Card Ladder Pro plus extra value for the same price. Even if you don’t use all the grading perks, the Fanatics Live credit is a nice bonus to try out the platform. If you already subscribe to Card Ladder Pro or were planning to subscribe, just go with PSA Collectors Club Premium and get more for your money
Why I Wouldn’t Consider Standard
For my collecting habits, the Standard membership doesn’t make sense. I don’t grade enough cards to use bulk or monthly specials, and the magazine isn’t a draw. The $60 Fanatics Live credit is nice, but not enough to justify the $149 price tag when Premium offers so much more for just $50 extra
Final Thoughts
If you’re eyeing Card Ladder Pro, the smartest move is to get it through PSA Collectors Club Premium. You’ll pay the same price as a standalone subscription, but unlock extra perks and credits that make your membership go further.
