SportsCardPro Review: A Tool for Tracking Your Sports Card Collection

Disclaimer: This post reflects my personal experiences and opinions on using SportsCardPro. I am not affiliated with or sponsored by SportsCardPro, and this is not financial advice. Always do your own research before using any sports card tracking tool.

As I continue growing my sports card collection across multiple vaults, mainly Arena Club, PSA Vault, and Fanatics Collect, I wanted a way to easily track my collection in one place. SportsCardPro was a popular free option often mentioned for tracking collections, so I decided to test it out.

How Does SportsCardPro Work?

SportsCardPro allows collectors to search its database and add cards their personal collection. It provides estimated values based on recent eBay sales, making it a useful tool for tracking both inventory and market trends.

What I Like About It

Good coverage for NBA, MLB, and NFL cards – The database does a solid job of including most modern and mainstream cards in these three sports, making it easy to add in cards from my collection
Price tracking with comps – It pulls data from eBay sales, giving a general idea of a card’s value, though prices seem slightly inflated in many cases
Basic tracking is free – I can tag my cards based on where they are stored (PSA Vault, Arena Club, etc.), though the free plan only allows for up to three tags

Limitations to Consider

Lacking in non-major sports – If you collect soccer, hockey, F1, or other smaller sports, you may struggle to find certain cards in the database.
No way to add missing cards – There’s no option to manually add a card if it isn’t in the system.
Limited customization – You can’t track half-point grades (e.g., BGS 8.5), which can be frustrating for collectors of certain grading companies.

Is SportsCardPro Worth Using?

If you mainly collect NBA, MLB, and NFL cards—especially from more recent years—SportsCardPro is a solid free tool for tracking your collection and monitoring prices. However, if you collect other sports or more specialized cards, its limitations might make it less useful.

For now, I find the free plan sufficient for my needs, but I hope to see improvements in customization and database expansion in the future.
